How Long Will You Be With Your Current Employer?

In a recent article, I read that 35 year olds entering the job market will have already worked for 8 to 12 employers. I find that astonishing. At the age of 26, I’ve only worked for 2 different employers and the thought of having to pick up and move 6 more times in 9 years makes me tired. So what’s causing all this uprooting and disloyalty among young employees?

The answer is….........HEALTHCARE!
Employers are finding that healthcare cost are rising and showing no signs of slowing down. Some Fortune 500 companies are raising co pays and even eliminating healthcare coverage from company benefits all together. Our economy is going through a dramatic change and until the business moguls and healthcare providers of the world join forces to solve this little problem, individuals will have to fend for themselves, leap frogging from one job to another.
